Smile for Sorriso
Merry Christmas!!! So after packing my bags i said goodbye to Rondonopolis!! it was a sad day because i loved
that city, but the Lord has some different things to do and i will go where ever he calls. This week we had the
mission Christmas conference in Cuiabá. it was a party!! i had so much fun seeing all my friends and i felt the
spirit so strong and we watch videos of Christ. it was a conference that i will never forget and that i will always
remember. After conference i caught a midnight bus to Sorriso that took 7 hours to get there. and by the way,
i didnt sleep to well on the bus. it was bump after bump. When i got to Sorriso i thought that i sent home to the
US. the city looks a lot like a small american town. Clean streets, houses without big tall fences in front and a
whole lot of white people! ahaha. there is a lot a German people that live here and i fell just a home. Now it is
back to work and time to get ready for Christmas!!! I hope everyone has a great Christmas and enjoy the
COLD!!!!!!!

And here we go again!!!!
So this week has come to an end and also this transfer as well. so i have so good and bad news to tell. the bad news is that i am leaving Rondonópolis and getting transferred. i am sad because i only have 3 months here and i wanted to stay longer, but big news is to come. the good news is that i am getting transferred to be a Zone leader in a new area. i am going to a city called ,SORRISO. i am pretty excited and i know that it will be a good time for me to learn a lot. So now lets go. Also yesterday we had a Stake conference were we watch a broadcast for salt lake! it was really cool and was only for the people in Brazil. Elder Holland was in charge. All the talks were in Portuguese and Elder Holland's was translated, but he did open in Portuguese, which was cool. They talked about who Brazil as a country is growing fast in the church and that we cant stop working. i loved the conference a lot and i felt the spirit so strong. I love you guys and will be writing you guys from my new area next week!!!

The work here is progressing
So i don't have a lot of time to write but i want to tell everyone what is happening and how i am! This week we
had an activity at the church for the whole District( stake) and it turned out great. everyone loved it that went
and the ones that didn't go missed out. The activity was on Friday and one Saturday we had an open house to the
public. the church was opened and people we guided around the church! I talked to over 100 people about the
church. Then Sunday came around and it was the best Sunday on the mission. we had 10 investigators, less
actives and 2 baptisms yesterday at church. I was great to see the reactions of the members as the chapel
filled up!!! so this is is for me. now it is back to work here in RONDONÓPOLIS, MATO GROSSO!!!

Keeping busy make the time fly by.
The week has gone by fast. That is what happens when you are busy working. The area here is keeping me busy and we are still in the midst of transfer and I have found out that my favorite missionary companion is coming to this area. We did not move last week, as we had hoped, so we are going to try and make it happen this week. I am still with my companion, so that hasn't changed. There is a great work here to do and I am grateful to be a part of it. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers you send my way. God lives and loves each one of us.

I'm Baaaaaack!!!!
So i know that it has been quite some time that i have not talked with you guys back in the states. So this past week
was full of craziness!! We had the AP's come in to town to give some training and then President Oliveira came into
to have a Conference with everyone here. Well it turns out that when we were at the church doing an activity our
house got robbed!! Someone kicked in the back door and stole little things around the house like, cologne, shoes,
watches, food and unfortunately a camera that had all the pictures from the mission i am happy it wasn't mine but
sad that it happened to another Elder. So it was a big shock to us but we are moving house anyways. Also this
Sunday we had a special conference in which President Oliveira split the Branches here and made one more Branch.
It was a historical even on the mission and in the city!! I was glad to be apart of it! Now this week i will be moving
house and opening up a brand new area again! Life is just moving on and that is what i like!! So that is all that i
have to say and will keep doing what i am doing!!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!!!!
SO this week fly by because we had a Zone Conference with President
Oliveira and was SUPER awesome. We did a lot a practicing and how we can
teach better to baptize. The rest of the week we worked in the rain.
the weather here is super weird because Friday was SUPER HOT, i mean in
the 100s and now it is in the low 40s. Where am i at? But a good cold
front is good once in a while. The problem is the rain! This week was
slow whit the work but are are doing our best to find and teach. Well
that pretty much sums up my week. I only have 2 weeks until i hit 1 year
and then it is all down hill! this coming week should be better and i
am ready to call more people to repentance! Thanks for the support and
the love!!

I feel like I have traveled the world
So this week was pretty fun because i went all the way back to CUIABÁ!! i
had to renew my visa in Brazil and all went well!! I Saw my old companion
and another missionary that i arrived with!! It was super fun to see and
hang out with them in Cuiabá. We went shopping for random things and
went to McDonalds to end the day of festivities. I traveled back to Campo
Grande on Saturday and went to Church there on Sunday. After Church i
went home and finally slept in my own bed!! It was a fun week and glad
that i had the chance to see such great friends that i have made on the
mission. It was really tiring and all in all i traveled for 40 hours
on a bus. But i am home and i am back to work. Until next week my fellow
Americans

I know why they call it hard work
If a mission was easy, everyone would serve. I know that I am not doing this alone and I am glad to be serving the people in Brazil.
The Book of Mormon is true no matter what language you speak or where you live.
