1 Year, 12 Months, 365 Days, 9 Transfers, 50%
So i have come to the Mark of one year and nothing really was special for me. We did get a bit to eat a night to celebrate, but really nothing! Also this was my last week in Ponta Porã and its pretty sad. I will leave here with 7 and a half months in my favorite ward and favorite area! I am so grateful for the time i have had to pass here in Ponta and help all those that i meet!! I love Ponta Porã and will never forget the memories i have made. Now it is time to make a new chapter to the Mission Book. I am getting transferred to a city called Rondonópolis and will train again. i guess there is something i do to keep on train. Now one more kid to add to my family! haha. Also i will be the District Leader and will have the privilege off opening up a new Branch in that city!! SO yeah and lot has jumped in my face but i am excited for what the future holds!! I am grateful to be here in the one and only MIssã Brasil Cuiabá!! Love you guys and áte mais meus amigos!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!!!!
SO this week fly by because we had a Zone Conference with President
Oliveira and was SUPER awesome. We did a lot a practicing and how we can
teach better to baptize. The rest of the week we worked in the rain.
the weather here is super weird because Friday was SUPER HOT, i mean in
the 100s and now it is in the low 40s. Where am i at? But a good cold
front is good once in a while. The problem is the rain! This week was
slow whit the work but are are doing our best to find and teach. Well
that pretty much sums up my week. I only have 2 weeks until i hit 1 year
and then it is all down hill! this coming week should be better and i
am ready to call more people to repentance! Thanks for the support and
the love!!

I feel like I have traveled the world
So this week was pretty fun because i went all the way back to CUIABÁ!! i
had to renew my visa in Brazil and all went well!! I Saw my old companion
and another missionary that i arrived with!! It was super fun to see and
hang out with them in Cuiabá. We went shopping for random things and
went to McDonalds to end the day of festivities. I traveled back to Campo
Grande on Saturday and went to Church there on Sunday. After Church i
went home and finally slept in my own bed!! It was a fun week and glad
that i had the chance to see such great friends that i have made on the
mission. It was really tiring and all in all i traveled for 40 hours
on a bus. But i am home and i am back to work. Until next week my fellow
Americans

I know why they call it hard work
If a mission was easy, everyone would serve. I know that I am not doing this alone and I am glad to be serving the people in Brazil.

USA USA USA
So what an interesting week it has been for me here in BRAZIL. I
traveled by bus ( 6 hours) to Campo Grande to pick up my my comp or as said in
Brazil ,``Meu Filho``. He is a "greenie". A fresh new missionary. He is from the north part of Brazil, where it is hot, and has a funny accent but i can live with it. Does not no english, but would like to learn. He can be very quiet, but I am getting him out of his comfort zone. He is very respectful to everyone. He comes from a small family, and is the only member. He has been a member of the Church for 5 years.
I stayed in Campo Grande till Thursday and then we headed back to Ponta. My comp got settled in and we got to work. Sunday was really awesome here in our ward, one because i got to bear my testimony and two Carlos and Mateus, the two youth that we baptized a week or two ago, received the priesthood. It was supper awesome and i am seeing the fruits of my labors. They have a bright future ahead of them. Today i am going to a English School to talk about the USA in English and we will see how it turns out. I was promised cookies, so i better get them.hahaha. that sums up my week. I will continue my training here and well keep all of you informed. Love you all and until next week!!

The new tree crew in Brazil
I am staying in Ponta Purã and I am getting a new companion. I am going to train him!!!! I am going to Compo Grande to receive some training first and then pick up my new companion on Wednesday.
I am very excited and nervous. I will be staying in Ponta Purã the next 3 months/12 weeks because I am training. I think this is my new home. We have not moved from our current apartment yet, we have 4 missionaries living here again. The apartment feels very small.
We had to do a service project and we cut down part of a tree. Well they don't have chain saws here so we used machetes. It was awesome and reminded me of home working with Kurt Fife.
I am traveling this week and that is about it. We had a ward talent show and I did magic of course. Everyone loved it.

A Visit from Jack Frost in June
so i know that it has been a while but i just want to keep you guys
updated on what has been new here. It has been cold and finally dropped
down below 32 degrees. Who know Brazil gets cold?! i am now just waiting
on snow but will probably never see it. SO this week we had a baptism
and it was the coldest day of the year. The water heater broke and so the water was ice cold. I felt bad for our investigator but she
toughed it out and we dealt through the pain. I walked in the water first
and held in my desire to scream because it was cold but was glad that i
only went in waist deep. All in all it was a very spiritual baptism and
the whole ward showed. Mow this week on Saturday we have to more
baptisms. i just hope someone fixes the water heated or it will be round
2 two of ice water!! so that is all here in PONTA (BURR)orã. I love you
guys and glad that i am here on the mission. God is Good and until next
time!!

BRRRRR its cold.
So this weekf lew by and we did get a lot done here in PONTA PORÃ!! The temperature dropped again and it has been n the 60s all week. I spent the
first part of the week in the hospital because of my asthma but all is
okay now. The rest of the week was filled with teaching and FOG!! One day
here the fog was so bad that at night you could not see anything. It was
pretty sketchy. We have two Baptisms set for next week and hopefully
well we will mark 2 or 3 more. The sad thing that happened this week is
that starting this week there will be only one group of Elders here in
our area. i will stay with my comp but the Others will leave. Its s
really sad and we are going to work even harder. But i know we can do t.
SO that sums p the week for me. love yo all and will definitely need the
prays n my behalf. I will also try to stay warm here in Ponta. Until
next week y´all
